Windward Veterans Celebration

Preparations are being finalized for Windward’s 2019 Veterans Celebration.  We are seeking to find the names of all Windward Veterans by September 30.  If you are a:

·         Windward Veteran

·         Widow/Widower of a Windward Veteran

·         You know a Windward Veteran

·         You know a Widow/Widower of a Windward Veteran

for which there was not a Display last year (if you have not already done so), please forward your/the name as desired to be displayed and your/their Branch of Service to edunger@comcast.net by September 30.  Currently we are aware of 160 Windward Veterans. 

Based on feedback from a number of residents, the 2019 Windward Veterans Celebration Event will be held Saturday, November 09, at 11:11 AM.  An inclement weather back-up date is Sunday, November 10, at 2:00 PM.  The Displays are anticipated to be erected Saturday, November 02 and taken down around Saturday, November 16.
