What is WARM?

WARM Calendar

The Windward Association of Retired Men (WARM) is a group of over 60 core members who come together for fellowship, learning, fun, and civic duty. We gather weekly on Monday mornings at the Alpharetta Presbyterian Church for a scrumptious breakfast buffet and an hour of fellowship, entertainment, and learning.

We regularly have informative presentations by local speakers and our members on health, local government, safety, finance, technology, travel and sports. While we are open to hearing all points of view, WARM remains neutral and takes no official positions.

WARM members frequently organize informative field trips such as visits to civil war historical sites, the Southeastern Railway Museum, and the World War II Museum.

Our civic duty hasn’t been forgotten. Daily, members deliver bread from local stores to North Fulton Community Charities and weekly, cover a Meals on Wheels route. Members also dedicate their time to Windward by volunteering at the annual 4th of July festivities, delivering directories, and creating recreational areas at Lake Windward dam.

We socialize at a monthly lunch and an annual holiday dinner for members, their wives, and the widows of deceased members.

There are no dues, fees, or officers. Members volunteer to coordinate activities and meetings. And participation in all activities is voluntary.
